About us

Hello! My name is Josh Newton, I love to fly whether that is in an aircraft or on the ground operating a drone. Ever since I was a little kid I would always look up to the sky whenever I heard a plane go by. I’m currently finishing up my degree in Aviation Science at California Baptist University. I have become known as the drone guy around the aviation department. I currently have hundreds of flight hours logged operating a UAS. Most of my flight hours have been operating DJI sUAS such as Phantom series, Mavic Pro and the Inspire series. I also have my pilot certificate with over a hundred flight hours in a single engine aircraft. 

I started Newton’s Drone Services two years ago after I had passed my Part 107 written (commercial drone certificate exam). My goal was to learn more about the UAS industry and help make the skies safer through develop a safety culture around drones. We have helped many realtors, businesses, companies, and clients with all their requests for aerial shots. Our goal is to continue growing with our clients and providing the best service possible.
